An interface is where two systems meet and interact. It can enable great exchange, or present a barrier.

My research interests lie on the interfaces:
Through bioengineering we combine the principles of life sciences and engineering.
With microfluidics we bridge the gap between the molecule and the observer.
Using multiphase microfluidics of non-mixing phases we control the chemistry on an unprecedented scale.
By performing numerical simulations we tackle theory and experiment.
Combining computer graphics and other media, science and art meet for scientific visualization.
And by conducting research together, we gain from our cultural interfaces.
